Acroterion was established in 2001, after twenty years of academic research and direct work experience with search engines and software architecture methodologies to bridge the development gap between academic science and commercial need of search engines. Profile
An experienced, aggressive Internet Services sales executive who won’t settle for being less than #1. Acroterion has been ranked as #5 in Worldwide Search Engine Solutions. #1 in Canada.
We have been growing and winning new business and need additional sales talent. Particularly, we need someone who can increase the awareness of Acroterion in USA, and build a future with our customer focus, a get it done attitude and our proven worldwide capabilities. We are looking for people with experience in solutions selling and Internet services, particularly search engines who can manage complex sales cycles.
Challenges
We are looking for someone to ‘evangelize’ Acroterion. A hunter mentality that has a track record of successful targeted cold calling and managing key accounts. Unlike a start-up situation, however, we have both a strong financial base and equally strong reference accounts. You'll start with target 500 prospects opt-in to our database, nobody ever called.
This is a highly competitive marketplace where our competitors’ typical offerings are based on not-ethical and not-professional practices. The challenge is to leverage your knowledge of business and technology and sell value, not price, and to really be able to differentiate our service offerings.
We work in a virtual organization with limited face time. The challenge is not just to manage your own time, but also to manage your own learning of our services and how we do business in order to build a legitimate pipeline quickly.
Actions/Results
These are multimillion dollar, multi-year deals that require you to develop and execute a complex sales campaign. This will challenge your leadership skills as you work with clients at all levels and orchestrate a diverse internal team of resources to successfully negotiate and close the deal.
- Understand the strategic direction of your prospects and implement creative strategies of your own to develop a buying vision in your clients.
- Presentations capabilities.
- Develop relationships and find alliance partners.
- We offer base salary plus commission compensation, as well as the opportunity to progress through the organization.
Technology/Skills
Professional work ethic, able to work on a team and independently as necessary.
You will report to Ken, COO and Martin CEO.
Must be fluency in English both written and spoken.
